Join us on a unforgettable visit and dinning experience to the Aliança cellars, in the heart of Bairrada. Bairrada is a winemaking region, filled with vitality and history. It was once a land of passage and conquers, of fights between catholics and muslin Arabs. It has been a winemaking region since the Xth century, and a well-known established winemaking region since the XIXth century, producing excellent white, red and sparkling wines.

Aliança wines include Quinta dos Quatro Ventos, Quinta da Garrida, Quinta da Terrugem and Quinta das Baceladas. Aliança has won several awards, nationally and internationally, and in 2005 Wine Spectator listed Aliança as one of the 20 best wine companies in the sector worldwide.

In Aliança you will experience a new concept of wine and art by visiting the two attractions of the Aliança Underground Museum. Tour the century old cellars, and get to know the history and process behind the Portuguese sparkling wine.

The Aliança Underground Museum is an exhibition space, displayed along the traditional wine cellars of Aliança Vinhos de Portugal. It includes eight private collections, displaying diverse artefacts from the fields of archeology, ethnography, mineralogy, paleontology as well as ceramic tiles and tins covering millions of years of history. These collections are part of the Berardo Collection, and are the result of the constant effort of José Berardo in collecting and caring for objects of scientific, artistic, historical and sentimental importance.

The keynote session for the first day will be hosted in this intimate setup, as an appetizer for what's to come during the social event.

You will be surrounded by a unique atmosphere, where all your senses will be stimulated. Aliança's sparkling wines and white and red wines combined with local gastronomy, and the amazing cultural visit around the museum, along with the social and relax get together of the CMS 2014 will make this an event to remember.
